The other: a Kuwaiti US graduate living on a private estate , never drank tea or coffee, choosing plain water and long, silent hours over daily routines.

Their issue with modern Zen was simple: it had turned into cheap, hollow minimalism—light white rooms, thin paper, and flimsy lighters.
